Light-Emitting Diodes

Our IR LEDs are made in England by Laser Monitoring Systems Ltd. They are available at 1.8, 2.8, 3.4, 3.8, 4.2, and 4.8 microns. Packages are: TO-18 with plane window; TO-18 with sapphire lens; TO-5 with plane window; and TO-8 with plane window and thermoelectric cooler.

Output optical power levels range from 90 microwatts for the 1.8 micron device to 1 milliwatt for the 4.8 micron device at room temp and with a 0.25% duty cycle.
