Glossary
- phase jitter
- One spoke and space pair on a rotating disk chopper represents 360
degrees of phase. Phase jitter is the variance, expressed in
degrees, between one spoke and space pair and others on the same
disk. In our choppers, the phase jitter is attributable to
mechanical tolerances in spoke and space width rather than to motor
speed variations.
